ETF Flows: BTC, ETH & Altcoins
ETF Flows – BTC ETFs remain in a net-outflow regime. In the 49 trading days since cumulative flows peaked on 6th May, spot BTC ETFs have posted net inflows on just 13 of them, shedding a cumulative $8.41B. The past week (13th July–17th July) added $75.7M of inflows. ETH ETFs followed a similar path, shedding $1.11B over the same stretch, though flows turned positive in the past week with $105M of inflows.
Over the past week, altcoin ETFs showed a more mixed picture. XRP led inflows at $6.78M, followed by SOL at $948K. HYPE recorded a net $7.26M outflow. XRP's flows were entirely inflows rather than outflows over the week, with net inflows on 1 of 5 trading days and no net-outflow sessions.
Adjusted for market cap, HYPE has the largest 20-day rolling ETF flow, at around 0.83% of token market cap (as of 17th July) — but that is a single $108M net inflow on 25th June (more than the window's other inflows combined), not steady or delayed accumulation; unless the pace of inflows picks up to replace it, HYPE's 20-day rolling line will fall once that day drops out of the 20-day window.
