Beacon Chain - The staked balance rose from about 41.2M to 41.5M ETH over the past week, extending a climb that has added roughly 5.5M ETH since January. Deposits ran consistently above withdrawals throughout, with a spike near 80k ETH on 27 July, while full withdrawals stayed small and partial withdrawals were absent entirely. The largest single outflow of the month, near 78k ETH, came back on 4 July.

Lido has begun rolling out Core 2026, moving its Curated Module onto 0x02 withdrawal credentials and migrating more than 265,000 validators off the legacy 0x01 standard. Enabled by Pectra's EIP-7251, which lifted the balance cap from 32 to 2,048 ETH, Lido projects its compounding share rising from 32% to 52% and the validator count falling from roughly 880,000 to 628,000, about 29% fewer attestations per epoch and lighter load for every node on the network.
