ETF Flows: BTC, ETH & Altcoins

ETF Flows – BTC ETFs took in $1.08B over the first three days of the past week (19th–21st October) before $773M of outflows on Thursday and Friday cut the week's net to $305M. That still extends their recovery from the 13th July low in cumulative flows, winning back about three-quarters of the $8.91B that flowed out between the 6th May peak and 13th July. ETH ETFs lost $221M over the same week.

ZEC drew the week's largest altcoin ETF inflow, $41.1M, with money coming in on four of the five trading days, ahead of NEAR at $5.22M and XRP at $4.25M. Net outflows came from SOL ($17.3M) and HYPE ($15.2M).

Adjusted for market cap, NEAR still has the largest 20-day rolling net ETF inflow among altcoin ETFs, at around 1.36% of token market cap as of 23rd October, but that window still includes its $36.0M launch day, which drops out on 27th October. ZEC's price rose about 5% over the week, against a 1% dip in BTC and falls of 1–2% in ETH, SOL and HYPE, while NEAR fell about 7%.
