Bitcoin and Altcoin Dominance – Bitcoin dominance continues to move sideways, with altcoin dominance showing a similar trend. This is analogous to the broader crypto market, where spot prices have largely moved sideways.

Altcoins performance vs BTC
Altcoins vs BTC – XRP, ETH, and SOL continue to closely track Bitcoin’s daily movements, with their returns largely converging over the past week. On most days, their performance has differed from BTC by less than 1%.
Today, 16th March, stands out as an anomaly. While Bitcoin is up around 3% over the past 24 hours, these altcoins are outperforming, with returns over 2% higher than BTC’s providing a more leveraged exposure to the move.

ETF Flows: BTC, ETH & Altcoins
ETF Flows – Over the past week, BTC ETFs recorded $568.45M of net inflows, while ETH ETFs saw roughly $23.56M of net inflows.
Activity in altcoin ETFs was largely muted, with flows staying close to zero across recent sessions.
The only altcoin ETFs to record flows over the week were XRP and SOL: SOL ETFs posted a net inflow of $24.04M, while XRP ETFs saw a net outflow of $4.08M.
