Beacon Chain
Beacon Chain Summary

Beacon Chain Balance

Beacon Chain - The balance rose from approximately 41.45M ETH to 41.75M ETH over the past week, with deposits continuing to outpace withdrawals.
Deposit flow drove the move, with several sessions clearing 50k ETH and a single day approaching 150k. Full withdrawals were sparse, the largest near 60k ETH.
A draft core proposal filed this week, EIP-8361, would burn a rising share of validator rewards as staking climbs, reaching 100% near 60.25M ETH, about half of supply. Yield would compress well before that, though validators keep priority fees and MEV, and the burnt rewards never enter supply, leaving a lower issuance path for holders even as staking income falls.
Ether.fi, with about $3.55B in deposits, has stripped restaking out of weETH and moved it to weETHs. Its founder opposes EIP-8361, arguing smaller stakers would be squeezed.
