BLOCK SCHOLES BTC RISK APPETITE INDEX

Risk-Appetite in BTC continued to move higher over the week even as BTC spot traded broadly sideways. The move up in the index has come against the backdrop of weekend de-escalation between the US and Iran, which drove a sharp fall in oil prices with Brent moving from above $84 to below $80 per barrel.

ETH Risk Appetite also moved higher across the week. ETH has staged a mini rally alongside gold this morning, with the World Gold Council reporting this week that central banks bought a record 289 tonnes of gold in Q2 2026, led by Poland (+51 tonnes) and the People’s Bank of China (+33 tonnes).
